This is why I love Tokujin. He's a minimalist. He works with familiar colors - white, black, clear but always manages to surprise me. Unlike his minimalist contemporaries, Tokujin is a texturalist. It may be white, black and clear but it's tactile. It's extreme minimalism without being "starck" pun intended. Check out his Ami Ami line for Italian manufacture Kartell. One of the first things I asked for after joining the company I now work for was proper seating. We ended up dropping $10,000 on Humanscale chairs for the entire office. Tho a massive investment, we saved tons of money in what could have been an endless bill for worker's comp.
Technology has changed how and where we work. Now we work anywhere and everywhere. No matter where we work we want a comfortable chair. Introducing Setu. Its innovative kinematic spine bends and flexes to your every move. There's nothing to tilt, nothing to tweak. Setu's finely tuned elastomeric fabric provides superior suspension and conforms to your contours.
You can order yours from Herman Miller later this year. More pics after the jump.
Hit it is a series of furniture, consisting of a table and chairs. They resemble Saloon furniture from western movies, but the difference lies in the material. Hit It allows everyone to feel like a strong cowboy. Saloon fighting will now not only be fun, but safe.
I want this for my office, mainly to smack clients with when they something stupid like, "make the logo bigger."

The Purity Rocking Chair by Scott Wilson is pure sex on wheels. No wait. . . sex on rockers? Anyways, I love the design; shiny lacquer finish, the polyurethane mesh, and of course the sexy clam shell shape. Just a concept now but one can dream.
