Black Hole For My Junk

black_hole_01.jpg

Check this bag out called Black Hole. Designed by Nodesign Studio, the bag is made from a super flexible thin material that lies flat when not in use but expands multiple times over when stuffed. Now your junk doesn't have to live in isolation in the back of the closet. Just stuff the Black Hole and display it. The thin material leaves impressions of what's inside making it look more like an art piece than a junk bag.

23rd Anniversay Jordan Ball

23anni-jordanball.jpg

I'm not a sports fan nor have I ever owned a pair of Air Jordans but I do know my balls. Here's the 23rd Anniversary Air Jordan ball. The stitching, leather work, and design are first rate.

But I still prefer the Murakami Flower Soccer ball.

But You Promised Me!

credit_seal_01.jpg

How many times have you uttered those words to someone? Me personally, more than I can count and they all seemed to have been with my parents. Those two hardly ever kept their promises to me which is why had the Credit Seal existed, my parents would have been a lot more careful with that word.

Winner of the Red Dot Design Award 2007, Credit Seal is a digital notary of sorts. When a verbal promise is made, a record can be kept obligating both parties to their agreement. If one should fail to comply or acquire an acute case of selective amnesia, just bring up the seal which has both names, the promise, and the sign date. That outta shut them up.

Mom, dad. I'm still waiting on the Teddy Ruxpin you promised me for bringing home straight A's.

Soft Little TV

tokyofiber-tv_01.jpg

Ever wonder why electronics are hard? With today's technologies; paper thin flexible screens and micro circuity should make soft electronics possible. One organization called Tokyo Fiber challenged its members to recreate a piece of technology that forever shifted our society - the TV.

Little TV fits in the palm of your hands not only because it's small, but also because it's plush. This time, it's advance textiles that redefine form and function. Introducing textiles into the equation can again change the product landscape and stimulate our senses in entirely new ways. Sets that rest comfortably in the palm of your hand; small, round, and soft reinterpretations of products that feel nicer, cuddlier with more character.

Have You Seen The Land Rover LRX?

rover-LX_concept_01.jpg

Sexy ain't he? Yes I "genderize" my cars as males, not females. The LRX is set to make its public debut next month at Detroit's auto show but that didn't stop the company from releasing these tantalizing photos after the jump.

It's based on the Freelander, Land Rover's smallest SUV but this one is lower, sleeker, and IMO a whole lot sexier. However it's not just looks on the outside. The interior is studded in technology galore with color coded drive modes and an integrated spot for your (my) iPhone! I'm not sure what the iPhone does when docked but the interface is augmented with a big drive button. Hmmm.

Rover purists will probably say the design moves too far left from the boxy lines most of us are familiar with but I think it's a nice balance between the two. For now it's just a concept but the company did say they're exploring a possible production version. YAY!

Some Handy Baggage

rotoflexion-backpack.jpg

The Rotoflexion Backpack - from the article,

"It's hand baggage but not as we know it. Give the day's tensions a cold shoulder with a stress-busting massage. Instead of shoulder straps, the Rotoflexion Backpack has strong mechanical hands that grip and manipulate those knotted trapezius muscles. Powered by a rechargeable lithium ion battery, there's still room for a laptop and a Lion bar."

I want one of these NOW. Thanks Bookofjoe.
