Paris '06 F/W - Alessandro Dell'acqua

Gun metal greys, bomber jackets, motorcycle cop silhouettes, military structures, cotton, nylon, satin, and shearling all make Dell'acqua's latest collection one of my favorites. The lines are clean but not boring. The fit is relaxed and the cut is still very masculine.

A Slanket

Slanket

I want this so bad, I can't even begin to express how bad. A Slanket is basically a gigantic fleece throw with arm holes. Take something made for comfort and security and make it wearable. BRILLIANT!

And before plankton makes some lame and smart ass comment about how I already wear throw blankets at home and at work, let me point out the picture above. Look how much fun that guy is having! Look how comfortable he looks! How can the idea of a wearable blanket be anything but good?

Please buy me one!

UEG - Paper is stylish

Ueg

UEG garments are aesthetically attractive, yet ultimately purposefully perishable. These items are guaranteed to deteriorate with wear. They are all packed in identical cardboard boxes. The publication of the series aren't limited by seasons. The UEG season lasts all year long. This is a demonstration of the UEG manifesto which is printed on every jacket together with washing recommendations.

Green Apples Anyone?

Grnappletree 01

An L.A. based design company, GRN Apples has a beautiful line of tees, pants, and hoodies for sale. I intend to pick up one of the hoodies for myself. They are beautifully distressed and since the designer has a graphic design background, there's just the right amount of type and imagery to keep it fresh without looking tacky.

Rainbow Bright Girl

My friend dragged my ass EARLY in the morn all the way down to the O.C. to Fashion Island Mall; 1 hour drive. Coupled with the fact that my early morning drowsiness hadn't worn off when we got there, I just went straight to the place where I knew I would feel comfortable among the rich and "new money" of Newport Beach - I went to the Apple Store.

I saw this girl with the "dopest" kicks. Dammit I forgot her name but I do remember I instantly labeled her "Rainbow Bright" so that's what I'll call her.

Rainbowbright Girl

Just take a gander at those boots. Her story? She realized she needed a new memory card for her digital camera so she rolled out of bed and rocked her rainbow house boots down to the Apple Store.

I want a pair BAD!

Space Invaders Forever

Spaceinvaders Shirt

I know a lot of you out there are retro gamers. Many remember the simple days of a joystick and one button. Some of you may even remember further back - what was up with all the numeric keypads on controllers back then?

Anyways, I digress. To relive your retro gaming god days, why not do something that would be cool by today's standards while paying homage to your past? Interested? Pick up this cool black t-shirt with the invader himself screen printed in bright green across your chest. If you really wanna be cool, pick us up a pair also; size Large please.

Oh and ladies, contrary to belief, I do try and cater to everyone on this blog. This shirt comes in both mens and womens sizes. Just $20 bucks people.
