Pinch and Pull a Tee
I'm not a huge fan of the new tees from Amkashop - there are a few standout pieces in there. I'm more interested in the fun and kooky ad campaign featuring models seemingly suspended by wires strategically snapped into their clothing to show the design. They should have taken it a step further and green screen in some backgrounds, i.e. this guy strung up amongst the redwoods in California would have been hot!

Charming Pins
This may be a sign of age but I've grown fond of these pins. In fact, I've been sorta pin crazy lately. Pretty soon, I'll graduate to full on broaches.
These beautiful pins (yes designed for men) by Nicola Vruwink are custom made and so are their prices; $88 - $142, eeeekk!
I still want one tho. Go ahead and splurge; get me one.

Symbiotic Relationships: Parasite and Host
To further explore the complex relationships of nature, growth and survival, friends hosts and parasites demonstrate these relationships using fashion as a template.
Printed Organism is a jacket with a artificially living and growing organism that comes to life with vivid patterns and illumination when worn. Just like a parasite, it crawls and bends to the body relying on the structure of the body to sustain itself. However, when the host removes the jacket, the parasite begins to die slowly, mimicking how in nature, a symbiotic relationship can not exist without coexistence.

Wicked Silver Shoes
Those ruby slippers from Oz have nothin' on these silver bad boys. Bottega Veneta outdid themselves this time and I've been waiting forever for the price to drop. I knew they wouldn't sell out since it takes a certain level of bravery to wear them in public but how can you say no? The gorgeous nappa leather inserts and basket weave pattern treated with the most metallics of silver metallics makes it a must have item for my wardrobe.
Best of all, only $490. I think someone needs to buy me a pair, size 44.5 - thanks.
