Presentation 101: How Madonna Presents An Album

This is a total flashback. Madonna sent a video to present her Bedtime Stories album to Warner execs. Kinda awesome that she doesn't even have to show up. A video will do just fine. I also like this because this is Madonna version 1.0, the woman that dragged life by a dog collar bending it to her every whim. Don't get me wrong, I like Madonna 2.0 too. It's just nice to be able to reflect.

Goldfrapp Live Lounge

Goldfrapp-Owl

I'm highly anticipating Goldfrapp's latest album "Seventh Tree" which comes out end of month. They're already embarking on a European tour and I got to hear a little sample this morning on Jo Whiley's Live Lounge at BBC radio 1. Alison's voice in "A&E" is enchanting and you can hear it even more with the new electronicless acoustic sound they're going for. As a bonus, they also sang "It's Not Over Yet" a cover by the Klaxons which itself is a cover by Grace in the 90's.
