Solar Piggies
Looking like some robotic child-size VW Beetle, these creatures roam the dark sewage beneath Germany diligently cleaning up after us. The "electric pigs" as they are referred to, turn sewage waste into a sludge by using solar power to dry it out.
They apparently work very well since 100 of them already exist with more on the way. Here's a photo of one at work. Isn't it cute!
