I've been quiet this past week because I've been busy catching up with the World Cup Spring 2007 menswear lines in Milan. So I start my review with one of my favorite collections of Spring 2007, Alessandro Dell'acqua.

When I look at Dell'acqua's collection, I form a story in my head. I'm not sure if it's the same story he had in mind but no matter how the clothes developed, they are very handsome.

I see a rebellious punk kid forced to enter military service. He's sent off to Africa where he sees things that eventually influence the man he's to become. When he finally returns home, he's grown up. Still a little rebellious at heart but this time with military refinement and worldly experiences. It's a good look on him. Fitted shirts in desert and grove colors, wild prints, all coupled with slim line pants rolled at the cuff to show off some awesome camouflage-metallic shoes.
