Nintendo's Interactive Game Calendar

Snowdriftland is an online flash game set-up to release each of its 24 stages on a specific day of the month. The game is really just a spot for Nintendo to bombard you with banner ads but the game is absolutely addicting, you won't even notice them.
You play as a snowman traveling thru a cloned Super Mario World collecting snowflakes (gold coins) while battling penguins, orcas, spiders and flying squirrels just to name a few. The mechanics are spot on and it proves once again, Nintendo is King of retro gaming. Aside from the excellent gameplay, the music is drugfully addicting. I found myself humming it while walking the dog.
