Bloomed Words

Bloomed Words

How cool would it be if our casual conversations could generate dynamic imagery?

Winner of the 5th Independent Animation Festival is a cute animated short called Bloomed Words that explores that very concept. Even the most mundane conversations can be interesting with the right visuals. The conversation is between the two designers (whom are still students!) Kubo Amica and Inoue Seita.

Somebody needs to design software that does this!

Who knew a conversation about airplanes and mountains was interesting.

That is some sweet animation. I had to watch it twice. Once for the animation, a second time to actually read the dialogue. It's funny.

Lol, I just got out of a conference with a Professor from Tokyo Uni about anime and the ICAF 2007. She showed us the best of the student work, and bloomed words was one of them. lovely lovely! Others also awesome were 'Birthday' and 'Ushi-nichi', this last from one of her students.
