Just a little fashion warning. If you can pull off a horizontal striped hoodie without looking wrong, then you my friend are a rare breed. They're on sale now at Urban Outfitters for $19.
So why are horizontal stripes risky? They either make you look fat or too skinny. In fact the only guys who can wear it are the ones with average builds, broad shoulders and a medium length torso. AVERAGE people, not slightly overweight, not muscular, not skinny - just average.
Also, this particular hoodie is risky because someone might think you have just escaped from prison.
I've actually got this hoodie in brown and tan, or at least the H&M version of it. I'd be a total love affair if I hadn't seen five other people in my area wearing the same thing. I've never caught other people wearing the same clothes as me before. I guess that's what you get for shopping at H&M, though.
I like the idea that only a very few people have truly "average" builds. Their averageness makes them special!
that stripey hoodie would only work with a pair of vintage eastern-european acidwash jeans.
Do average people escape from prison? Anyway I'm so happy to be average everybody else tells something different...
