A Really Good Fake Cigarette

Chinese E-Cig

It looks like a cigarette, glows like one, feels like one and even emits vapor like one but it's a total fake. The e-cigarette is yet another product designed to help you kick your habit. Small doses of nicotine are delivered every time you inhale but without all the nasty poisons. The company claims it's more effective than chewing gum and patches but at $208, not many can afford it. Currently sold only in Asia and the middle east, the company plans an all out blitz on Europe and American soon.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I've always found it odd that smoking is the one habit that requires you to ween off it. With other addictive drugs, substitutes or going cold turkey are the prescribed methods. Are all the patches and chewing gums just a conspiracy to keep people addicted? Anyways from the looks of that picture, that guy looks like he's inhaling a whole lot more than nicotine.

How about the methodone program for heroin addicts?

I'm not exactly sure how that works, but I assume it's not just an equivalent but controlled drug, but there's a plan when you join to get you off the stuff completely.

OK, I'll bite and correct you. Well, not correct exactly.

Nicotine is scientifically proven to be more addictive than heroin. It is extraoridinarily difficult to kick the 'habit'. Unfortunately junkies get better treatment than smokers and there are more options and assistance for junkies to kick heroin. Why? The government makes big bucks in taxes on cigarettes. Why on earth would they promote, pay for or otherwise assist smokers in quitting?

$208 unaffordable? Nah.

Not for the avarage smoker that spends what.. something like $700 a year investing in a cloud of smoke

lmao. that's hilarious. yea... your probably right. that does seem strange...

Even if nicotine is proven more addictive then heroin, that does not mean the withdrawals are worse. I would bet that withdrawing from heroin cold turkey is thousands of times worse than quitting smoking cold turkey. Can't remember getting a cold sweat on my back or panic attacks trying to quit smoking.

Why would the government want to help you quit? smokers are the government's profit and nothing more to them, they couldn't care less if you died because of their cigarettes, all they're doing is trading you a highly addictive stick of death for your money which you work hard for.. Although a smoker myself i would have to agree that the e-cigarette is being sold for a reasonable price, i myself am 17 years old and spend approximately two thousand dollars a year, at least those were my calculations for last year. it looks smart and is being sold for a great price.
