Polos With Shotgun Wounds
Last month I blogged about a new clothing company called Attus Apparel. They have a line of polos, each sporting the 6 archetypes of man. They just added another polo to that line up called "Shot Up". Basically they spent a weekend shooting up their polos with a shotgun and are now selling them. Before you ask why you would buy a shirt full of holes, the guys at Attus did it as a commentary to why people spend hundreds on ripped up jeans.
I agree with them. Any holes you find in my jeans came from wear and tear and I'm damn proud of them, especially the rips on my knees. Oops! Did I just say that?

Sounds like the work of Robert Carey Williams (not the greatest example in the link). A few years ago, one of his collections involved 'distressed' clothing made by setting off fireworks in his garden with all the clothes hanging on the washing line.

... when I write "sounds like", I mean "it reminds me of".
I wasn't suggesting that that this has anything to do with Robert Carey Williams.

makes one pine for the so-called Bosnian collection from Copperwheat in the 90's... it featured birdwash.
as for your ripped knees, The Ramones Rule!
