The Epic Voice That is Björk

Several of my friends think Björk is just plain weird. A few even dare say she can't sing a note's worth. I beg to differ. Her voice is epic as is her writing talent. It's sometimes hard to remember how amazing her voice is when you take a hiatus from her records. They're not exactly easy to hum so they don't get stuck in your head. However as soon as you listen again, a cold front quickly shoots up your spine down your arms making each hair prickle.

This video was taken from the excellent Screaming Masterpiece documentary.

Björk is wierd =) But i often like to listen to it for just a song of 2. I'm still wondering if the MTV poster i have is of Björk or just another strange figure.. haven't figured it out yet ^^

I like her voice, but you have to admit it... she IS a bit weird...

wtf?! garnering from some of these comments, bjork is not at the top of their playlists. i say bring on as much of bjork as you want. she CAN sing and is not cookie cutter like the rest of these so-called artists. and if weird means having creative vision, then hell, she is weird! i'd rather be that rather than the vacuous people that litter the sidewalk. so bring bjork on, anytime you'd like.

Wow, just WOW. I had no idea she could sing like that. She held that one note forever. I counted 20 seconds. I've always remembered her as the screaming grunting vocalists with weird lyrics.

I remember this song too, the kissing robots. Geez this performance was flawless.
