Sander K - "This is Sander Kleinenberg"
First off, if Sander's previous release "On tour" was a step backwards and perhaps a disappointment, this one will set the record straight. Sander K. is one of the greatest djs out there.
Being a follow up to the “everybody set” Sander puts out an incredibly interesting and unique sound on these discs. I’ve read that Sander doesn’t like the idea of genres and labeling music too much, or as he puts it “Versatility makes a dj strong”. With these discs he won’t have to worry about being classified, it’s simply impossible to define the sound as one genre or style.
The first disc, called the left disc begins with a track from my fellow Scandinavian Disk jokke with “Folk I Farta”. A real smooth start to a very pleasant journey that stays interesting throughout with highlights such as Tom Novy’s tribute “Moscow never sleeps remix” and Gui Boratto’s re-work of Robert Babicz’s “Sin”.
Turning right onto the second disc we find Nic Fanciulli’s cool remix of Eyrer & Hinz Motorcitysoul and the Dubfire intepretation of Smith & Selway’s “Transit time”. I also like “Dancing in dark rooms” by quivver.
Both discs are Incredibly cohesive yet so different. His mixing is exhilarating and effects are used with finesse. If you need a new electronic cd, this is the one for 2007.

Can you tell me if Sander K was in Goa in December 2006? I am trying to find out if I saw him or somebody else. Thanks
