Modernizing The Eames Lounger Chair
Eames is probably one of the greatest and most recognizable furniture designers of the mid-century era. His designs still has people paying top dollar for an original. One of his most famous pieces is the Eames lounger and ottoman. I personally love the design but I'm more futurist in my aesthetic tastes and so when I saw the Tok, I knew I had hit pay dirt.
The Tok looks like a modernized version of the Eames lounger but still retains many of the Eames' trademarks like wood paneling and organic forms. I would love to have this set in my living room but alas, it's £1,629 and I'm not even going to convert that into U.S. dollars. I already know it's out of my price range.

Hmm.
I don't know, I think the original has much more panache about it, but this is a very good homage.
On that note, there's no credit or reference to Eames on the site, is this morally sound?

The Eames' were a husband and wife duo, Charles and Ray Eames.
