Bat For Lashes
Bat for Lashes' "What's A Girl To Do?" has been on iPod repeat for the past week. There's an old school sound to it that makes me feel dreamy and surreal for some reason. When I finally saw the video, it all came together. Goes to show you don't need a multimillion dollar budget to create something visually engaging and provoking. Sure there's a little Darko influence but that movie is aces and so is this video, oh and so is Jake G.

i am so jealous of England. We get Sex In The City The Movie clogging up our streets, they get that amazing amazingness.
If Sarah Jessica Parker had mascots doing tricks following her around town when she was filming, i might forgive her for spawning nasty lines of tourists outside the nasty cupcake shop.
