El Orphanato

Guillermo del Toro's "El Orphanato" (The Orphanage) is one of the finest modern ghost stories I've seen. Without spoiling the movie, he manages to craft a suspense thriller without the use of big special effects. It's all in the camera work, music, and timing which is why he's a brilliant producer/director. El Orphanato is definitely this year's Pans Labyrinth. It's in limited release but if you have the chance, please go see it.

this movie is so scary like the new movie"The strangers"

El orfanato wasn't directed by Del Toro, but by Juan Antonio Bayona.
