Bees Sniff It Out

Bees-Project 02

Moma Online has an interesting exhibit called Bee's Project. A number of hand blown glass objects houses bees in intricate chambers designed to detect your current health condition. Bees have a highly advance sense of smell which can be trained to sniff out certain forms of cancer, the common cold, even pregnancy. I wonder if they're covered under my medical insurance. I can't wait to tell my physician he's wrong cuz the bees told me differently.

If you jump to the Moma Online site, just type "bees" in the search field and follow the path to the entries. There's a few more pics after my jump too.

That's pretty amazing! I bet the glass objects also could double-up as bongs too :o)

HOW DOES THIS WORK?

Cool pics. Don't let the bees in ur mouth. OUCH!!!

Wow!!! How do the bees get oxygen out of the glass? The reoson I ask is cuz I love SCIENCE and I realy want 2 know!!! I am shocked if they have oxygen in that glass. Bcareful cuz I lov bugs. Even... bees!!! Nbody realy is. That is sad. Just leave them alone and they will leave us alone. Incase u didn't know, they r part of our... planet. So please don't hert them. Also, plz take good care of our mother Earth. WE DON'T HOVE A 2nd CHANCE!!! Remember, if u leave them alone, they will leave u alone!!!
