Grey Wolf Returns

Grey-Wolf-Snow

New England used to be home to thousands of grey wolves before they died from mass human settlement. The last recorded grey wolf in that area was in 1840. The remaining grey wolves are in the Rockies and Canada so it was a surprise to law enforcement when a healthy (and big) 85 lb male grey wolf was responsible for a number of missing sheep and cattle in New England. They think he may have migrated south from Canada but instead of returning him, you know what they did? They shot him.

Yeah. . .
