This company sells Wind Up kits for about $100 each. I'm tempted to get one but there's no kit for my Prius. So far they'll only work on a number of VW's and Scions. It's so dang cute I can't help myself. What do you guys think?

This is not a new idea. It's a retread. They used to make these in the sixties for the original VW bugs. I think that one even appeared in a beetle ad. You can probably still find them at JCWhitney.com
