Home's To Have Nutrition Labels Too

Breezehouse-Label

At least that's the proposed experiment between many of the new prefab companies. The label tells you how much energy your home consumes and how much it emits in carbon gases. Tho it's difficult to accurately measure how much each and every home uses/emits because of variables in location and environment, I think it's a cool idea overall.

We've got them here already (Netherlands), but in the form of an A (being the best) to E (being the worst) label, just like we have with washing machines, freezers and other household appliance. Since this year it's mandatory to have a label if you are selling your house.

Nice bog you have here. I pretty much lurk the internet when I'm bored and read all I can about the organic lifestyle, but I really liked you view on things. I'll bookmark the site and subscribe to the feed!
