The Queen Lands In Los Angeles
I meant Alexander McQueen, fashion designer God to many celebs, fashionistas, and aspiring designers. His North American flagship store just opened in Los Angeles on the corner of Melrose and Orlando. Though the facade isn't anything ground breaking, you might notice what looks to be a silver head peeking out from the roof. That's because a full size anatomically correct metal sculpture by Robert Bryce Muir triumphantly straddles a sky light with his arms right above the entry way.
McQueen wants the store to pull double duties as both retail and gallery space. Tall order but if anyone can do it, the Queen can.
Interior shots after the jump.
