Apple Holds Key To Military's Future

Boommissiles

It seems Apple's recent acquisition of P.A. Semi has raised more eyebrows than Wall Street's. The U.S. military is upset since P.A. Semi manufactures chips for 10 crucial military systems worth $100 million and Apple isn't required to honor any of those pre-existing contracts. The military isn't in the position to redesign its defense systems so it all comes down to uncle Steve - whom mind you used to be a hippie. Most powerful man in the world now? Perhaps.

I am quite sure I read somewhere that apple has agreed to supply the chips for the military.
