It seems Apple's recent acquisition of P.A. Semi has raised more eyebrows than Wall Street's. The U.S. military is upset since P.A. Semi manufactures chips for 10 crucial military systems worth $100 million and Apple isn't required to honor any of those pre-existing contracts. The military isn't in the position to redesign its defense systems so it all comes down to uncle Steve - whom mind you used to be a hippie. Most powerful man in the world now? Perhaps.
I am quite sure I read somewhere that apple has agreed to supply the chips for the military.
