Bladerunner Back In The Game

Oscar Pistorius

I wrote about Oscar Pistorius a.k.a Bladerunner last year when he was banned from all competitions by the IAAF destroying his Olympic dreams. A court has overturned that ruling so he's back in the game, YAY! The controversy started when several people complained his "cheetah legs" gave him an unfair advantage.

The double amputee runs on specially designed carbon fiber blades and although he's fast, he's not fast enough to qualify for the Beijing Olympics. It'll be an uphill battle but even if it's not 2008, he's definitely aiming for London 2012.
