Vula Oh My Gosh!

I've loved Basement Jaxx since '97 and have always wondered when front woman Vula would strike out on her own. Thankfully her debut solo effort comes out this year but don't worry it's just an artistic hiatus. If you've never seen Basement Jaxx perform, you're missing out. This is one of the few dance groups who sound better live, thanks to Miss Vula's amazing writing and vocal prowess.

Above is her acoustic rendition of a Jaxxy classic, "Oh My Gosh!"

Fun thing is, jaxx were really good before 1997, after that they actually only produced commercial crap. There were times where they ruled the underground clubscene, now they just hang about in the commercial charts, not even winners from a commercial point of view. Too disappointing a band. entertaining when live, nothing more, nothing less.

But then, i think you also fancy fedde le grande and tiesto so that makes sense.

Oh, your preview template returns an error

cool vid though, one of the nicer tracks, neat performance

@ 2:07, does she say "Chinese pies"? ????
