Without a doubt, Kanye was responsible for launching the slat shades that became so popular earlier this year but those are soooo done. It seems the new trend (poorly demoed here by Beyonce) are chain eyewear. The picture from the Bless S/S 2009 collection says it all.

Meanwhile, I bought slat shades from Joey Arias at Fiorucci wayback on E. 59th Street... we totally begot Kanye's stylist by 3 decades.
