YAY! Congrats to Robert Geller for winning this year's CFDA Best New Menswear Designer award. The $50,000 cash prize will go a long way in further establishing the label. This year's prize also includes a mini-collection to be designed for Levi's. I'm definitely going to cop that.
Robert Geller who once worked with the now defunct Cloak label is a design force in his own right. The aesthetics are totally different but the tailoring and craftsmanship are still all there.
Definitely one of my favorite new designers tho he doesn't seem that new to me. He's been hitting the pavement hard these past few years. Hard work pays off and his tale inspires me to work harder.
