979.62 sqft of Architectural Brilliance

I'm terribly jealous. Why? My apartment is nearly 800 sqft. and the layout in space efficiency is no where near that of this 980 sqft. home in Sakuragawa Japan. The live/work space is home to Suppose Design Office architects. Four floors and a roof deck - DAMN did I mention I'm jealous.

They did a fantastic job turning that corner edge into a focal point, a feature that stands out and basically makes the whole design. Hit the jump for more pics and floorplans!

I want this architect, or at least I want his plans. Pure genius! Form and function are maximized in such a small footprint!

BTW : I love the new site design!
