Futuristic Fish Farms in Big Balls

Someday your fish may come from giant robotic floating balls like this. National Geographic believes it could solve many of the current problems by turning these automated cages out into the seas. They follow ocean currents and allow fish to grow healthy in clean open water instead of overcrowded coastal waters. These spheres may even generate electricity by harnessing solar and wave energy.

I feel bad for fish. I mean this is better but is it really better?

Lets get this going ASAP so that coastal areas are not degraded due to aquaculture industrial activities.
