Panda Extinction

sleeping_panda.jpg
The giant panda could be extinct in 2 to 3 generations. Noooooo! China's rapid growth and industrialized development has cut swathes of roads into the bamboo forests making it difficult for pandas to meet and mate.

This hurts my heart. I've spent the past 4 years studying and researching the giant panda for my menswear collection. I've donated large sums of money. What more can I do? I feel so helpless. I urge China to halt its encroaching reach into the forests and reevaluate their position. The giant panda is an international symbol of peace and conservation. The giant panda is China's ancient symbol for prosperity.

There's still hope. Bamboo is the fastest growing grass in the world. The forests could be regenerated.

What can you do? Support the WWF and the Giant Panda Conservation Fund.

There has to be something we can do, be it encourage more mating or restoring the forests. But it seems some people are willing to just let them go extinct. http://www.newsy.com/videos/adapt_or_die
