Adidas and Puma Bury Old Grudges

adipumx.jpgDid you know sportswear companies Adidas and Puma were founded by rival brothers? 60 years go Adi Dassler founded Adidas and Rudolf Dassler founded Ruda (later renamed Puma). World War 2 politics divided the brothers and the feud continued. Tho no one from the family runs either companies now, on September 21 employees will shake hands and play a football match (cough PR stunt) to officially mend fences.
