Alternative Graphics Editor

gdt.jpg
As a designer I'm pretty familiar with all of the popular image editing applications. My favs are Photoshop and Pixelmator. At the core they both do the same things and handle image editing the same way; within an environment based on layers with attached attributes.http://graphicdesignertoolbox.com/

Graphic Designer Toolbox (Mac only) offers the exact same features but based on a visual nodal structure they call blocks. This method enables anyone to see exactly what all was done in order in a non-destructive editing environment. It's an interesting way of organizing actions, something I've only seen in video compositing software.

I'm working thru the 30-day demo. Haven't made up my mind yet but I will say it's quite powerful and taps into OS X core graphic abilities. It's way faster than Photoshop but the workflow does take some getting used to. Ready to dive it? It'll only cost ya $42.94. Lemme know what you think.
