The Kymera Wand

wandremote.jpgTho the makers make no mention of it, we all know were this wand was inspired from. That's okay, I won't mention it but unlike the wands from that universe, you don't have to go to a magic wand shop to buy this because it costs $84 purchasable online.

The Kymera Wand only does one thing and that is to control your TV. Using the "magic" of accelerometers and gyroscopes, a flick of the wrist up and down controls volume while the perpendicular motion changes channel. Mouthing a spell is optional but you know damn well I'll be practicing my "chango volumunis" over and over until Oct. 1 when the Kymera ships.

It doesn't just control your TV - it can also control your iPod dock, hi-fi, set-top box, cat, etc...

OK, maybe not your cat.

I'm sure that everyone will be shocked when you grasp your wand firmly in your hand and make the TV channels change. They will be dumbfounded when the volume raises and lowers at your motion. They will cower and marvel in awe as you point it at them and threaten to turn them into goons...the sweet pranks that will ensue.

The Kymera Wand Community site is in the making at http://www.wand-control.com. Working together with the genius wand makers Chris Barnardo and Richard Blakesley of The Wand Company Ltd. we want to provide a place where wand users can get the latest information, share their experiences and stories and discuss anything related to the Kymera Wand.

Happy Waving
Michael
