We Have iPhone
Ladies and gentleman, cats and dogs, tigers and bears. Both Selectroclash and I have iPhones. We have been playing all night. We'll write up full reviews later. So far, everything works as advertised and AT&T's EDGE speed boost has been awesome. There's hardly any wait time loading web pages and YouTube videos.
Goodnight!

I Heart Michel Gondry And His Cotton Ball Clouds
Seriously, this man has my heart. I love the way he sees things and BTW, please find humor in this video. We know that's not really Michel Gondry.

Twilight Turtle Puts The Cosmos Within Your Hug
I want this, I want this NOW. The Twilight Turtle may just look like an ordinary plush but this cute, cuddly turtle is more than meets the eye. This guy is a home planetarium.
His shell hides a projection system that beams the cosmos right onto your ceiling. Stars from eight major constellations will circle around you in either white, green, or blue lights. Said turtle also comes with a guide to help you identify major star clusters and lesser known points of interest.
This deserves to be in my office. Somebody buy me one please! Only $68.15 $31.99

Where The Wild Things Are
Here's the first image from Spike Jonze's adaption of Maurice Sendak's classic children's book "Where The Wild Things Are". This is one of my most beloved books ever.
As a child I identified with the story because for once, a fairytale that wasn't all about princes and princesses. I believe Jonze to be an extremely talented man and I hope he does the book justice.

Greatest Singles Densities Across The United States
The density of single men and women across the United States is oddly reminiscent of the country's red and blue states. Coincidence?
Thanks Jeff!

Man and Whale
A beautifully animated short about whaling in Japan. The story of an old school headmaster who reminisces about Japan after the war. It was acceptable then to hunt whales since the country was starving but now that they are the one's dying, it's our turn to save them.

New Footage of The Loch Ness Monster
Okay before you watch this video, let me give you some scientific fact. The waters of Loch Ness are nutrient poor supporting few and only small fish. A large fish or reptile could hardly survive in such a desolate environment. Of course, we also once thought nothing could live on the ocean floor. With that being said, here's clean footage taken by tourists of Nessy doing a Shamu Sham Slam, (yes I've been to Sea World). Thoughts?

The Dark Knight's New Suit
This isn't really tech or design related, well it could be. After all this is Batman, a man with enough gadget lust and lore to fill a lake. Anyways I digress. Photos of his new suit are in the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly. They got rid of his nipples and crotch bulge but made up for it by making the suit look more like armor. Wait, is that Christian Bale?
Here's the full pic.

A Career I Never Knew I Wanted
Imaginary Interface Design, doesn't that sound awesome? But what is it exactly? I'll let Mark Coleran's demo reel speak for itself. He basically designs what all those cool computery interfaces look like, most of which do not exist. But it's not all high-tech stuff, he's also worked on Harry Potter. HELLO! HARRY POTTER!

We Say GoodbyeTo Plankton
For 3 years, you readers knew my best friend and blog partner Daniel as Plankton. It's with great sadness that I tell you he's moving back to Sweden. It's been a decision long in the making but he's finally decided to do it. We had his farewell party tonight and it was totally bittersweet. I love him dearly and wish him well. It will be so hard not seeing him everyday but I'm happy he's finally made the decision.
On a good note, Daniel will still blog here as Plankton and I plan on doing a trip thru Europe later this year. Daniel will also be returning to the States once a year so in no way is this a goodbye.
Daniel my buddy and pal, I wish you well. I wish you all the happiness in the world and hope you reach all your goals. You and I have the kind of friendship that can't be described. We have nothing in common yet here we are, almost 4 years later. Have fun, kick ass and good journeys Daniel. I love you.

Gummi Bears That Are Good For You
Wanna know one of my secrets? It's Gummi Bears. All of my friends know I LOVE Gummi Bears but there's a specific kind sold by Borba. These gummis contain a natural bio-vitamin complex that helps the skin regenerate its natural support system. You only eat 2-5 a day (they taste great) so the gummis can remove toxins and improve skin clarity. I've been eating them for over a month and I've noticed my super oily nose has balanced out. I've also noticed my skin looking more glowy if that makes sense.
I'm not saying it's a cure-all for skin problems. It's just a good way to get your daily bio-vitamin complex in without having to swallow those giant pills they sell at drug stores. $25 buys you a pretty big bag. Give it a try.

Maison Bulle
The bubble house is the home of fashion designer Pierre Cardin. Originally it was designed and built for another man but he passed away before its completion. Fascinated, Cardin bought the property and asked the architect to complete the project.
Located near Cannes, locals call it Maison Bulle. Seriously, it looks like the set of Star Wars, or Star Trek, or Starrbooty, basically anything with the word Star in it. I'd love to visit one day.

thundercats, Thundercats, THUNDERCATS HO!
Hollywood needs new summer blockbusters. With comic books having been raped from bad rehashes (cough: Ghostrider), it was only a matter of time before they turned to the greatest decade of cinematic half hour cartoons for inspiration. Believe me, Transformers is only the beginning. We already knew Voltron and He-Man were in the works but now these heroic pussies can join the bandwagon. That's right kids, THUNDERCATS!
I about fainted, only after I gasped and swooned, when I read the news. I ADORE Thundercats and they've been experiencing a resurgence of lates.
For those not in the know or have forgotten, SHAME ON YOU! Here's a refresher. Thundercats are cat-like humanoids who leave their home Thundara after it was destroyed. They make new Earth their home only to be hunted down by the evil Mumm-Ra who wants them all dead.
You excited yet? I wonder who will play the hot Lion-O. Maybe they should cast that dude from Real World. He already has the hair.

I Love Pandas So Here's A Mini Cooper SUV
I've been working on a panda influenced project for almost 2 years now and needless to say, my panda obsession is still strong. With that being said, would you buy a clean diesel Mini Cooper SUV?

Cat Cam
I want to introduce you guys to Mr. Lee the cat. His owner wanted to know what Mr. Lee did all day so he made a little collar digital camera that snaps a picture every few hours. Turns out, Mr. Lee does more than just lay around the house and sleep.
Definitely one of the more interesting photo blogs around there.

Oh My Damn, Apple iPhone June 29th
An iPhone ad just aired tonight on 60 minutes. It describes the phone as an iPod thats never been like any other iPod before. Way to leverage your iPod brand Apple! Nonetheless, the commercial rekindled my desire for the $600 device. In fact, the commercial does something most commercials don’t do now-a-days; it shows how it actually works. Best part is the end, iPhone hits stores June 29th.
Go to Apple’s website to watch 2 other new iPhone ads in HD glory.

Take-G Toys, Father's Day Is Coming Up
Damn, if I had kids, they would always know what I'd want on account of this blog. I mean you regular readers know I'm always begging for stuff. Here's my latest obsession, Take-G Toys.
I have no information about them since I read Japanese about as well as seeing in the dark but I digress, if any of you Japanese readers would be willing to translate then help a brotha out!
Lots of pics after the jump.
