Hulu For You
I'm impressed with Hulu. It really is the YouTube of TV except it's officially supported by the studios. So far a lot of Fox and NBC content. The encode quality is good and you're allowed to embed whole episodes so here's a taste for you non Hulu beta users.

Ayur Chair Protects The Bum

I'm kinda fascinated by the Ayur Chair, a task chair designed by Cassina that claims to provide the perfect lumbar support while ergonomically lifting and separating your butt cheeks for optimum comfort.
At nearly $500, I think I could hire a live person to "lift and separate" my butt cheeks but since I'm not a perv, the same money can get you a Herman Miller chair.

The Tales of Beedle the Bard

So if you haven't heard, J.K. Rowling's handwritten book 'The Tales of Beedle the Bard' sold for a whopping 4 million dollars. Who in their right mind is crazy enough about books and has the financial power to make such a purchase? Why Amazon of course.
They've put up a slew of pictures and synopsis of all the stories. Interestingly many of the stories sound like early forms of characters from the Harry Potter series.
I'm totally guilty of Potterism because anything Rowling's pen touches, I wanna read it.

Precious Egg Is My Money Box

Designer Kensaku Oshiro wants people to understand the value of money, equating it with something as delicate and fleeting as an eggshell. So it's only fitting that his Money Box bank looks like one except the only way to get your money out is to smash it. At nearly $80 a piece, I'd never smash it, no matter how bad I need to change for the ice cream man.

Roadkill Plush

I know someone who has a thing for roadkill. I'm serious! I'm not gonna name names but when he see's a fury creature nibbling a hard earned snack on the road, he guns the accelerator. HORRID I know! I think I'll get him this hilarious plush toy from Roadkill. It's a squashed raccoon name Twitch.
Watch the commercial. Saw it on the Feed.

Get With The New Dances

I'm only 27 but I can admit how I danced when I was was 19 is now outdated. So in order to re-educate myself, I went looking for the hottest dance styles this year. You've got American Krumping, French Techtonik, and Dutch Jumpstyle. Hit the jump to watch each dance style in action. I think I'll take up Techtonik.
Krumping is known for its expressive and highly energetic movements.
Techtonik is a mix of disco, pop locking, and vogueing.
Jumpstyle is characterized by its jumping and stomping movements, carefully combined in choreographed sequences.

Boozehounds, Here's Your Crutch

Never be too far from your fermented grape friend again. The Wine Glass Holder Necklace clips onto the stem of your wine glass. Now inebriation is just a few sips away.

For Those Who Care About Nature
VW reserves their BlueMotion label for its greenest cars and part of being green is caring about the environment along with the animals whom share it with us. This ad is cute and when I wave my hands really fast in front on my eyes, he kinda looks like Anderson Cooper.

Flyer Hooks So Flighty

I've been mulling with the idea of redoing my closet simply because it's the most ignored space in my home. The past couple weekends have been filled with trips to stores for ideas but those super compartmentalized closet organizers just aren't me. I want something cleaner, simple - just some hangers and racks with lighting. I want something a little whimsical but still speaks to my tech/designer sensibilities.
I'm thinking about these Flying Hooks by Bos & Couvee. The hanger is suspended from a cable and looks like a cutesy stealth bomber. I can imagine a row on them but it'll be costly. A 4-pack is $100. Oh well, it's just money right? If I don't spend it here, I'll probably buy another video game or shoes, both of which need to stop.

Charlie The Coyote

I want to bring your attention to Charlie, an orphaned Coyote in the care of a woman and her cat.
